This Agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase from My Ideal PC Ltd entity named on the invoice (“My Ideal PC Ltd”) that will be provided to you (Purchaser) on orders for computer systems, related products, services and support sold in the United Kingdom. By accepting delivery or collection of the computer system(s), other products and or services and support described on that invoice, Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms and conditions. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY, UNLESS (i) THE CUSTOMER HAS SIGNED A SEPARATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH My Ideal PC Ltd, IN WHICH CASE THE SEPARATE AGREEMENT SHALL GOVERN OR (ii) OTHER My Ideal PC Ltd STANDARD TERMS APPLY TO THE TRANSACTION. These terms and conditions are subject to change and will take effect upon posting on My Ideal PC Ltd website of the update to the terms and conditions.
Quotations are subject to acceptance within 30 days. Quotations are based on the cost of products and/or services, labour and materials on the date of the quote. If changes occur in cost of materials, labour, or other costs prior to acceptance, or if the customer requires changes in the shipping subsequent to acceptance, the right is reserved to change the price quoted. Unless otherwise confirmed by us in writing, all prices given are exclusive of Value Added Tax, duties, insurance, carriage, set off or abatement.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY
Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by My Ideal PC Ltd shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of My Ideal PC Ltd.
ORDERS FOR COLLECTION
|ORDERS FOR DELIVERY
Delivery of the Goods shall be made by us or Royal Mail to the address for delivery shown in the Order Form. Customer must ensure delivery address is accurate and complete. Goods delivered in accordance with Customer’s delivery instructions; Customer is responsible for the same. My Ideal PC Ltd responsibility for everything other than damage due to negligence or due to a manufacturing design or design fault will cease upon delivery.
My Ideal PC Ltd will do all that is reasonably possible to meet the date given for delivery or, if no date has been agreed, within 30 days of the order date. My Ideal PC Ltdcannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. If we are unable to make the delivery date Customer will be contacted. If delivery cannot be made within 30 days of the given delivery date Customer will be entitled to either arrange a revised date or cancel the order and receive a full refund.
If the order is a multiple order and cannot be delivered as a whole order, Customer will be informed and can arrange to have multiple orders delivered on mutually agreeable dates. In this instance delivery will be said to be made in instalments. Each delivery shall constitute a separate contract and any failure by us to deliver any one or more of the instalments in accordance with these conditions, or any claim by you in respect of any one or more instalments will not entitle you to treat the contract as a whole as repudiated. If My Ideal PC Ltd fails for any reason within its control to fully/partially deliver Customer Goods any reimbursement shall be no more than the price of the Goods, together with any delivery and/or reasonable return costs.
WARRANTY, CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
Purchaser shall inspect the product(s) at the time of collection and shall notify My Ideal PC Ltd of any defects or discrepancies within seven (7) days of the receipt of product(s). Absent such notification, Purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted the product(s). My Ideal PC Ltd is not liable for any damage caused once product(s) are deemed accepted.
Any defective product(s) that are returned to My Ideal PC Ltd must be adequately and securely packaged by Customer prior to shipment. Purchaser must include original box, packaging, all manuals, drivers and accessories and original receipt for all refunds, exchanges, and warranty repair services.
My Ideal PC Ltd reserves the right to replace defective parts with equivalent parts, new or refurbished, as My Ideal PC Ltd deems necessary. My Ideal PC Ltd will refund purchases within 7 days of receipt in most instances. We reserve the right to withhold any refund after 7 days.
A £45 labour fee will be assessed if the products are returned and found to be non-defective.
Products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or unauthorised repair or installation, as determined solely by My Ideal PC Ltd, are not covered by this warranty. Any alterations, additions, improvements or attachments to the product(s) not authorised in writing by My Ideal PC Ltd shall be deemed to be a waiver of this warranty by Purchaser and shall render this warranty null and void. My Ideal PC Ltd shall return repaired or replaced product(s) to Purchaser, at its expense is via Royal Mail Standard Parcels Service within the United Kingdom and The Channel Islands. Shipping charges by all other methods and to all other destinations shall be borne by Purchaser. The warranty does not extend beyond the original purchase of product(s) from My Ideal PC Ltd. Any equipment used in conjunction with products purchased from My Ideal PC Ltd is not covered under this warranty.
Claims for defective products over seven (7) days from date of invoice are not covered under this policy. Defective products and claims over seven (7) days from the date of invoice must be sent back to manufacturer to be covered under their warranty terms and conditions. No exchange, refunds or swap-over are permitted for fault claims over seven (7) days. Acceptance of purchased returns that are free of defects is purely at My Ideal PC Ltd discretion. Refund of this purchase will be by way of a credit note only. Due to the nature of Software and Games, refunds are available if they are unused. The unique license must not have been activated. Refunds on software and games that have been opened, used or activated are available only if the disk is faulty or damaged.
CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY
You have the right to cancel the contract from the date the order was placed and up to seven working days after delivery, (beginning the day after delivery). The goods must be unopened and in a perfect resalable condition. Goods made to Purchaser’s chosen specification (i.e. custom built) cannot be returned under the 7 working day “cooling off period”.
To exercise the right of cancellation, Purchaser must provide notice to My Ideal PC Ltd giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. My Ideal PC Ltd will refund or re-credit Purchaser within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by Purchaser for the goods excluding any direct charges incurred by the My Ideal PC Ltd.
Purchaser has a duty of care, under these terms, to take care of the goods so that they may be sold again as new, by the My Ideal PC Ltd. Any resulting loss in value for goods not kept so that they may be sold again as new may be sought from Purchaser. Purchaser agrees to deliver goods back to My Ideal PC Ltd or make the goods freely available at the original delivery address, to My Ideal PC Ltd or his authorised agent, within 7 days of cancellation, for collection on a working day.
Full payment is due on collection and goods will not be released to Purchaser until payment has been made. For orders requiring shipment, advanced payment of order including shipping against a supplied proforma invoice is required.
Loss of Data
Due to the process or repair, data may be damaged or, at worst, deleted. My Ideal PC Ltd will make every effort to maintain the integrity of the data contained on your system. Ideal PC is not responsible, however, for the loss of any data which may occur while performing work on your computer. You may request a data backup during service under the terms and conditions below.
For the stated price, My Ideal PC Ltd will attempt to backup the files on your computer to an external medium. While every effort to verify that the files are properly copied, we cannot guarantee any backup. Ideal PC is not responsible for damaged, incomplete, or missing files.
Ownership and Authority
You must demonstrate ownership of any and all software that is to be installed or reinstalled on your computer. You must provide the original software media and any authentic activation keys. Also, My Ideal PC Ltd assumes that you are the owner of all equipment checked in or are otherwise duly authorised to make decisions regarding the service of that equipment.
Total Cost of Repair
My Ideal PC Ltd is responsible for providing a pricing estimate upon check-in. The quote provided is good for a period of seven days, since part costs and availability are constantly subject to change. Should costs of repair exceed the pricing estimate, My Ideal PC Ltd will make every effort to contact you for approval before proceeding with repairs. Part costs are non-refundable after approval. If the part is found to be defective, it will be replaced for you under our standard limited warranty below.
Payment and Insurance Work
All payment for unpaid parts, labour and other charges is due upon completion of work. This includes work that is covered by insurance. You are solely responsible for remitting payment to My Ideal PC Ltd. You are also solely responsible for any and all communications with your insurance provider.
You affirm that you are aware that authorising My Ideal PC Ltd to work on your computer may void the manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, while every effort will be made by My Ideal PC Ltd to be aware of warranty conditions, you are solely responsible for knowing and understanding what is covered by any warranties on your computer. Parts and labour on a system that is later discovered to have been covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is non-refundable.
My Ideal PC Ltd warrants all work directly related to repairing the problem for a period of ninety days. This limited warranty applies to parts and labour costs only and will not cover any software corruption or errors. Virus, spyware and other malware infections are not warranted.
The liability of My Ideal PC Ltd for damages to your computer is limited to any damage which is caused by our negligent acts or negligent omissions as determined by My Ideal PC Ltd. The liability cost covered is limited to the total price of the repairs performed by My Ideal PC Ltd. Be aware that certain repairs, including but not limited to virus and spyware removal, may damage software and or data installed on your computer, which may require the installation of your operating system, programs and data.
Impact of Upgrades
Please be advised that it is your responsibility to understand the impact of upgrades to the operating system, applications and software. Such upgrades can lead to incompatibilities and the possible loss of data. Computer hardware and software work together, therefore incompatibilities may not become apparent until a later date. You are solely responsible for contacting the manufacturer of your software and hardware regarding compatibility issues before upgrading.
If you are contacted regarding the completion of work or regarding a decision on ordering any parts for your computer and you do not respond within sixty days, your property will be considered abandoned. My Ideal PC Ltd will remove any parts that it has provided in an abandoned system and recycle the system. Every effort will be made to contact you by phone, email and recorded delivery letter in this event.
Refurbished computers, laptops, screens & all other refurbished equipment are covered by the same 90 day limited warranty as above. My Ideal PC Ltd is currently a member of the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher Scheme & as such warrants that any & all supplied software is genuine. Software installations are guaranteed to be virus free but are not guaranteed after they leave the premises of My Ideal PC Ltd, it is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to ensure adequate antivirus protection is in place & maintained.
My Ideal PC Ltd is a registered partner of both Eset. Eset’s antivirus solutions have been extensively tested & proven to be effective, however, My Ideal PC Ltd is not responsible for the effectiveness of any such software by any antivirus company. Any claims for loss of data or infectivity of said software should be directed to the manufacturer of said software & not My Ideal PC Ltd.
Unpaid Parts & Labour
Every effort under UK law will be made to recover any & all unpaid balances. This may include but is not limited to County Court Action through the small claims court. Unless otherwise approved in writing any & all balances must be paid for upon completion of work &/or collection/delivery by/to customer.
